No, we do not have any breed restrictions.
No, your pet does not have to be spayed or neutered to be boarded here. However, females in heat will not be permitted in group play.
We recommend that you bring your dog’s own food when boarding. Continuing on their own food helps them avoid digestion issues that can result from switching food. If you do bring your dog’s food, please be sure to bring it in a resealable container such as zip lock bags or plastic containers with lids. If you do not bring your dog’s own food, we provide a dry “house” food that your dog can eat at $3.00 per meal charge. Our house food is Science Diet. If your dog runs out of food, we will feed them our house food unless other arrangements are made.
We provide raised beds for the dogs that are boarding with us in the deluxe suites only, so it is necessary to bring bedding if you have it.
Feel free to bring two or three toys if you think it will make your dog more comfortable. We want your pet to be as comfortable with us as he/she is at home, so if you feel it makes him/her comfortable please bring it along.
Give us a call so that one of our representatives can get you and your fur baby added to our system.
We ask that all of our guests provide us a copy of their vaccination records. Your veterinarian should provide you a copy at each visit. Should you be unable to locate it, please contact your veterinarian directly to provide us the vaccination proof.
Click the “camera login” button on the top right of the screen. You will need a username and password to log in. Please contact the resort directly if you did not receive this information at check-in, or have misplaced it.
We provide 4 potty breaks during the day, ranging from early morning to late evening.
If your dog is taking any medications, be sure to bring them in the original bottle. This is a state requirement and it ensures that we can provide accurate information to a veterinarian in the event of an emergency. It is helpful if you can provide clear written instructions for administering your dog’s medications. Central Kentucky Pet Resort does not charge an additional fee for administering medications unless your dog is taking five or more medications.
Yes, we have professional on-site grooming available. Please let us know at check-in if you would like your pet to receive some pampering prior to pick-up.
All dogs that attend Central Kentucky Pet Resort must be at least 16 weeks old and remain current on Rabies, Distemper/Parvo and Bordetella vaccines.
Our daycare is an “all day play” structure whereas day boarding is in a private suite. Daycare dogs are in a playgroup for the duration of their stay.
If you want your dog to be able to play with other dogs, you can add on a group playtime where they will get to play with others for at least 2 hours. Group play comes free with a deluxe room and can be added on in a standard.
No. Our cats enjoy a private room in the front of the facility, far away from the pups.
It depends! Our playgroups are very flexible depending on the dogs in attendance that day. We do our best to place dogs in a playgroup that best suits their personality. Information provided to us on the Pet Personality Profile will assist us in getting to know your pup and finding the best fit.
